CCL Cafe: Best For Working and Coffee in Makati

You probably might agree with me when I say that one of the best things about being a freelancer is having to work remotely. Loving this set-up since 2017!

With that, I have always been on the search for cafes or places where I can work when I feel like the house is much stuffy for my brain to write and think.

I found CCL Cafe on social media and it has been my favorite in Makati these days! During my first visit, I planned on visiting the place after I finish some errands in the same area. It’s conveniently located a block away from Greenbelt! So I just had to walk from there.

It’s not difficult to spot. You’ll see their sign almost immediately. The cafe is located on the 2nd floor of the building and the main landmark can be the BPI bank on the first floor. The parking spots are limited and there are assigned ones for every establishment in the building. If you are bringing a car, best to contact them about the parking first.

There is an interesting art when you enter the building. It serves as a bench but it’s aesthetic that you’d want to take a photo at it.

Stone-like stairway will lead you to the cafe. They will ask for your vaccination card if you are dining in and then they will serve you ice-cold water right away.

The interiors are charming and minimal! There are flower arrangement as decors and big tables for your laptops and food. They also have a function room for private events or meetings.

CCL Cafe’s menu has a wide range of drinks to choose from starting at P70. They’ve got hot tea, milk tea, fruit teas, floats, milkshakes, and hot and iced coffee. If you come in hungry, you can get their all-day breakfast sets, burritos, nachos, chicken wings, pasta, and quesadillas which ranges from P160-250. It’s actually not that bad for a Makati cafe/restaurant.

I love the drinks. So far, I’ve tried the Loco (large, really) Iced Latte and Passion Fruit Tea. I’d also come back for the food! I’ve tried the Beef Tapa, Creamy Chicken Pesto, and Cheesy Beef Quesadillas.

During my 3rd visit, I ordered the Beef Tapa again because I really liked the vinegar dip that came with it but I was a bit disappointed that it was not the same dip that was served.

Overall, I’d still return because I love the ambiance and the coffee. It’s a place best for people who will do some work because it’s really conducive for work. They also have free wifi and it’s easy to find a socket nearby, too!
